I think even framing it as a war against Hamas is disingenuous, Hamas have all but surrendered they haven’t launched launched anything at Israel since October (when Israel agreed to a ceasefire that they have violated regularly).

Calling it a war now is disingenuous. The war ended. Israel did not hold up their end of the bargain. They continue to unilaterally slaughter Palestinians, regardless of their affiliation

Russia is at war with Ukraine, they are killing plenty of regular people not in the government.

No, they’re saying you don’t bend out of your way to say Russia is fighting there Ukrainian government and is not targeting Ukrainians, yet despite watching them proudly and gleefully live stream their genocide of Palestinians, some of you still insist it’s okay to say Israel is fighting a war with Hamas.
Israel is not conducting a war against Hamas in Gaza, they are conducting a genocide of mostly children in Gaza.
Still calling it a war today should automatically register a red flag, and the fact that it doesn’t for your is itself a red flag.
