• Everyone knows Amazon exists
• They aren’t for generating good will for the brand
• They aren’t particularly interesting and would IMO at least be creative perspective shifts if you got rid of the AI

TBF I think there is something different between using AI to summarize (where it basically takes the average of articles and compacts them (kind of), which is something they are good(ish) at given what they do is create averages) and AI “generating” content that is the result of that averaging.

I think Andy is a good display of why Kier isn’t the problem, Andy has more rizz but he largely holds the same positions as Kier if a tiny bit bolder.

The real problem is without a left-pole the center-left just collapsed into right-lite and that doesn’t really motivate people to get involved in the party beyond voting.

I’m not sure it’s really solvable without a better voting system and labor is stuck straddling votes of the center-left and trying to get left voters, so it tends to drag down parties (Democracts would be another good example), whereas in countries with better elections the actual-left can sit outside of the party and you can form a coalition, but that requires being able to compromise with parties to your left (Spain/Portugal/etc)
