    Babe, wake up, the new Nazi memorabilia just dropped!

    … this is going to age like unpasteurized milk in an outhouse. I hope most of them end up in landfill where they belong.

      It might be better to commit them to a museum. To make sure that it is never forgotten.

        Sure, but it doesn’t seem to have helped. We have plenty of genocide and WWII museums, but we have plenty of genocide and fascism happening just fine.

          A society requires its health, access to leisure, and the time to pursue their betterment in order to visit museums and internalize the lessons of history. The United States has reserved realization of these essential human needs for the upper class.

          We require such leisure to discover the capacity and motivation to better understand ourselves, those around us, and our collective material circumstances. Without that freedom museums become mere mausoleums until their intended visitors regain the humanity we were contractually coerced to forfeit.
