If it’s from the late 1950s, it wouldn’t even have been a knockoff COBOL. Probably assembly language for a machine that used either base 3 or base minus 2. (Before Khrushchev (I think) gave the order to stop inventing their own tech and start cloning American computers, the Soviets had some seriously weird computer architectures.)
