People vastly underestimate how often military folk get injured. And I am not just saying that because of my complete and utter disdain for the strong arm of an imperialist nation (now the right hand of a rapist). Traffic accidents while they are driving around, heat stroke, and even just shooting themselves in the foot either on purpose or by accident.

So don’t assume all of this is from iran’s retalliatory strikes (and the inevitable friendly fire). Odds are most of these are idiots who “fell off the aircraft carrier” as it were.

I saw 3 guys in a row get hurt by jumping out of the back of a 5 ton truck with full body armor and rucksacks before they started taking the little ladder.

It would probably be more surprising to me if we found out the admin wasn’t lying about or hiding death and injury numbers

    How utterly narcissist we are…

thousands of them killed, & order(s) of magnitude more of them injured, or homes-destroyed?

    how can that be important??

    ONLY WE are important!!

    HUNDREDS of us are injured!!!

    shameless.

    Total lack of loyalty-to-objectivity.

If what you’re talking about is military casualties, then it’s not unreasonable that a country cares more about their own than the enemy. But when civilian deaths are on the line too then it feels excessively narcissistic and selfish.

“Oh did we kill 300 school children?? … That’s not a big deal, but did you also hear that five us service members were killed? Let’s only focus on how sad it is for each service member!”
