I’m not advocating for Iran solving US made problems but the Iranian army would make almost immediate work of the folks that make up ICE. I scaled back to only necessities for the last 2/5ths of last year, I’m still spending as little as I can on things that aren’t necessary for surviving, but I will admit to having starting going out to like bars festivals and concerts for 2026 when I’m not too depressed to do so. Preaching to the choir brother, the South’s got a lot of problems but the common conception that it’s a just a bunch of idiots, racist, and inbred hillbillies allows them to ignore the actual disenfranchisement and oppression going on both in the south and their own back yards. See I get where you’re coming from and in a normal sane world you would be correct, but two things about this scenario worry me; the first is obviously that Trump is wildly unpredictable and prone to emotional decision making, especially when he thinks he might look bad or weak, and the other is that this sort of scenario and the bombing philosophy they are embracing is the exact reason to want to get nukes as soon as it was considered scientifically possible.
