I mean, being a pet seems like a really good life if you have good owners
This is what the 1% has done to many humans as well
Humans show many of the same signs in behavior and looks that we see in other animals we have domesticated.

🤦🏼♂️
I mean they are much more well-fed now and have a warm home, veterinary visits, etc. I’d say they made a strategically good choice and apparently evolution agrees.
Other than the ones that were bred to the point where their bodies barely work anymore.
You absolute fools.
*40,000+ years ago (potentially as long as 100,000+ years).
Cats were about 10,000 ya. We didn’t need cats until we had loads of harvested grains to protect from rodents.
PSA over.
PSA over.
Aww… Could we have another one? About beer?
SUBSCRIBE to ancient dog facts.
In the viking age in Norway, all farmers were required by law to brew beer two times a year. They could be fined if they didn’t do it in time.
Beer is was used instead of water to prevent bacteria from growing in the water, or at least that’s what we tell the wives, no idea if it’s true or not.
It was also invented before bread was afair 😁

You stupid monkey!
I read somewhere a while ago that if all those ‘pedigree’ breeds are left to go feral and start interbreeding, within several generations their descendents snap back to basically being wolves.
It didn’t take that many generations for us to do it to foxes, so going back might be just as fast.
They just become like dingoes, so not exactly like wolves…
I had hoped that we millennials would have “killed the pedigreed breeding industry” by now.
Too many millenials obsessed with having a chihuahua or some shit.
They say dogs are wolves with Williams syndrome.
