Not sure if serious or joking…

If serious: The photo-capturing camera as we know it has existed in one form or another since the early 1800s.

        Ok boomer…

But seriously, I’m old enough to remember the world when it was black and white only. When the world got upgraded to color it really changed things.

In case you aren’t joking, all of Napoleon Bonaparte’s 4 brothers lived into the age of photography (1826) and had their photo taken with a camera. His youngest brother Jérôme sat for many photo sessions. Only one of his 3 sisters, Caroline, lived into the era but never had a photo taken. Napoleon Bonaparte (08/15/1769 - 05/05/1821), didn’t live into the age of photography. US President Abraham Lincoln also has several photos taken of him during the Civil War.
