The network began a game of whack-a-mole with a segment that newly hired Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss didn’t want to air.

I really wish there was a way to start a mass migration of all the non-bots from Reddit to Lemmy.

What? Unless you’re in a conservative sub, you can say whatever you want about Trump on Reddit. People talk shit about him constantly there.

I’ve been banned multiple times for “harassment” and then the appeals were denied… so either they’re slowly and subtly cracking down on censoring people or it’s the way I word it (like i’m talking directly to the piece of shit, for instance). Who knows, Reddit sucks anyway. Soon enough they’ll bend the knee.

The Internet sees censorship as damage and routes around it:

I think YouTube is censoring mentions of it. I saw it in my Freetube feed, probably from Brian Tyler Cohen, but it disappeared on the next refresh. The mere mention of the 60 minutes video existing and being pulled is enough for YouTube to censor apparently.

  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules and use critical thinking when reading, posting, and commenting. Users that repeatedly have comments or posts removed, weaponize reports, or violate the code of conduct, will be banned.
