I was once at my dad’s birthday party and he invited like 20 boomer aged people. The food was pretty absurd. There were like 6 kinds of meat. And not much else. I was the only one there not eating anything, i kinda was just there to say hi, play with my niece and nephew and then bolt. Oh the fun they had making jokes about vegans that evening.
You forget that they have few interests and little else in common than ragging on the next generation.
You could be inhaling a sausage scarf draped around your neck, and they’d still find fault with the car you drive, the money you spend on percieved frivolities, and anything that seperates you from them

The actual annoying people are the ones who complain about (often imaginary) annoying vegans. Same with the anti-apple crowd, they’re 100 times more annoying than the people who they complain about. Same as people who call others snowflakes mostly being the actual snowflakes themselves.
Also this story is very old but gets reposted all the time always explicitly stirring anti-vegan snark with captions like “Least annoying vegan”.

If I recall correctly the bells right at like 100db which is like a concert or a lawnmower.

Of course not. Keep people of different beliefs legally segregated and treat anyone in foreign soil as a second class human.
Otherwise, you might be annoyed from time to time.

It depends on your municipality. In some they have local ballots where every candidate has to be approved. If they are denied because of racist (or similar) reasons, they can appeal the decision to a court. I believe the cow-bell-lady did that, but i dont remember the outcome.

She also had aggressive campaigns against hunting and pig racing. So basically she was against most of the major past times and cultural aspects of the town.

Can confirm, she was featured in a program about Swiss naturalisation that I watched the other day. There were plenty of other candidates who were trying to integrate that were much less annoying than her, yet they still were having difficulty. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that they denied her.
