        I dunno, I think that’s part of the magic of the Black Paintings. To me, what makes them truly unsettling (in the best way) is the fact that he painted them exclusively for his own desire and that we’re limited to guessing the subject matter (which, although ambiguous, was undoubtedly dark).

        Huh, neat. I tend to believe it is anyways with that previous sketch and simply belonging to under the umbrella of Romanticism but there’s some solid points there against it.

        Just the point that the buttocks are too round to fit a typical male depiction is pretty compelling.

              My understanding is pastiche is a homage, a parody can be as little as “this look sorta like that”. Imo pastiche would require intent and I’m not so sure an ai has intent.
