I’ll never stop being cynically amused by the fact that the self-styled American patriots are letting the Russian government tell them how to vote.

The tankies are the “left-wing” equivalent of these people. All in all they are eerily similar. They both support different forms of facism.

Oh, so you’re denying that you’ve ever denied or questioned the existence of Russian propaganda and/or bad actors?

        Okay.

        What’s this then? https://lemmy.world/comment/11978870

        And these ?

Oh wait no, despite all these doubts you have, you seem to accept the existence of Russian propaganda in this comment:

Hey, just off hand, if you wouldn’t mind finally answering this; are you pro-Russian? Do you support Putin? You claim to be American, but you can’t even say “I’m not pro-Russian”, no matter how many times we’ve engaged. Nor can you call Putler the pathetic little piglet he is. For obvious reasons. ;) Feel free to prove me wrong.

Denying you’ve said what you’ve said, only marginally touching on it to say you didn’t actually mean what you wrote. After which you again ignore me asking you whether you’re pro-Russian or not. Why? Why can you answer this simple question? ARE YOU PRO-RUSSIAN?

Why is it that you simply can not answer that, and genuinely all you do on Lemmy revolves around posting these inane lists of bullshit, always defending & indirectly propagating exactly the same thing Russian propaganda does?

Why is it that you simply can not answer this simple question that I’ve now repeated half a dozen times in this comment to highlight just how asinine this approach of yours is: ARE YOU PRO-RUSSIAN?

*We all know the answer, by the way, because you say things like this:

Reality has a well-known Russian propaganda bias.

It seems that lately Western media has started “parroting Russian talking points.” Is it because all this Russian propaganda is so incredibly effective, or is it because truths are becoming harder and harder to suppress? This week:

              • The Economist: Ukraine is now struggling to survive, not to win
              • Responsible Statecraft: Why sanctions on Russia are literally backfiring: Moscow appeared ripe for Western-imposed economic pain after its invasion of Ukraine but today the country is thriving

              • NYT: Russia’s Swift March Forward in Ukraine’s East
              • NYT: As Russia Advances, U.S. Fears Ukraine Has Entered a Grim Phase

              .
Western media parroted Russian talking points before 2022 as well, but somehow in February of that year they stopped 🤔

You know why I keep engaging with you? It’s because it’s like visiting a museum exhibit about Soviet propaganda. Amusing in weird sort of way. Your use of Russian propaganda is so exemplary it’s honestly rather impressive. I mean, Russian propaganda is shit rhetoric, any 16-year old with an average media literacy from my country could break down these childish lists of yours. You just rely on “if they start engaging, I can sealion endlessly”, and think people don’t understand what you’re doing.

Just like how you keep avoiding the question of if you’re pro-Russian or not. Which is again hilarious in itself, since you do keep insisting you’re a red-blooded American, but won’t go so far as to lie about not being pro-Russian, which is painfully obvious to everyone.

Are you pro-Russian? Do you wish to give Putler oral pleasure?

Take a look at the content they constantly remove in the mod logs. They can’t stand anyone that backs up their argument factually, yet does nothing but post their copypasta propaganda here for anyone ignorant enough to read it.

Seriously. Check their removals against the actual rules. Because unless Rule 1 clearly states:

                  Don’t post things I don’t like

The overwhelming majority of the shit they remove and ban people for- doesn’t break any rules at all.

All I did was post links to Western media sources, so I don’t see how that could be “a museum exhibit about Soviet propaganda.”

Picked one of your random article links. Here’s a quote.

To be clear, the Kremlin’s claims that Ukraine is a hornets’ nest of fascists are false: far-right parties performed poorly in Ukraine’s last parliamentary elections, and Ukrainians reacted with alarm to the National Militia’s demonstration in Kiev. But connections between law enforcement agencies and extremists give Ukraine’s Western allies ample reason for concern. C14 and Kiev’s city government recently signed an agreement allowing C14 to establish a “municipal guard” to patrol the streets; three such militia-run guard forces are already registered in Kiev, and at least 21 operate in other cities.

How does a video of Haitian immigrants voting illegally versus legally look different? Are they wearing signs or maybe one of those “Hi! My name is…” stickers with “Illegally Voting Haitian Immigrant” written in? Or maybe it’s just obvious because they present passports written on the back of cereal boxes and the election worker is giving big comic winks and saying “sign here US citizen legally allowed to vote.” I guess it doesn’t matter what the video shows. It’s probably some Bigfoot jerky video with garbled audio with a caption saying “Haitian immigrants voting illegally.”

Is there a /noshitsherlock community yet?

Illegal Immigrants cannot vote. No matter how much chuds want it to be true it just isnt. Hell we lock up natural born citizens for voting at the wrong fking location when they’re fully legal to vote. Our shit is stupidly hard locked down.

I’m of the opinion that we should have switched to all digital a decade ago. Fuck it. Lets see those results in real time. But that would require our leaders to have enough modern knowledge about computing systems to be able to understand the basics of whats going on. These fkin’ clowns are all “DoeS tHE TikToK coNnEct t0 mY wIfi?” Like yeah Harold I’m sure you could shoe a horse like a mfer back during the civil war, now find your downloads folder for me.

3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.

Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
