According to an overnightĀ CNN report, Donald TrumpāsĀ truce with ChinaĀ in the trade war he created could fall apart after his administration made twoĀ unforeseen ābombshellā announcements.
Secretary of StateĀ Marco Rubio announced on Wednesday that the U.S. willĀ Ā āaggressively revoke visas for Chinese studentsāĀ studying in critical fields or if they have connections to the Chinese Communist Party, an announcement which was met with a wave of anger by families inĀ China, many of whom have saved for years to educate their children abroad.
The second blow came after the Financial Times reported that āmoves by US President DonaldĀ TrumpĀ had effectively cut off some American companies fromĀ selling software used to design semiconductors to China.ā
That one-two punch has reportedly āinfuriatedā Chinese authorities who felt they had made progress with the volatile Trump as the clock ticks on a 90-day pause on increased tariffs.
You guys see that heās demented and utterly unstable, right?
I mean - of course you do, but . . . how does everyone not see that. Itās been so, so long.
Normal people see it. The other half are actually stupid by definition.
Yeah yeah. It only gets worse. I know.
But this is how he ānegotiatesā even back when he wasnāt in the throes of dementia. Be belligerent, throw tantrums, whine when things arenāt going your way, gloat when they are.
Even a fully competent Trump probably thinks that he is āputting the screwsā on China by doing this, to get a ābetter dealā. Even though we shouldnāt be linking these things at all.
Sort of? Itās kind of a moot point because he canāt complete a thought on his own anyway.
Complete lack of educationā¦
If youāre over 60 and just got a k-12 public education, you canāt be expected to know things you werenāt taught
Same for the kids who were under No Child Left Behind, no one ever taught them critical thinking so most people that graduated American public school after 2013 only learned critical thinking and problem solving from video games.
That leaves basically just the Oregon Trail generation that were actually taught how to recognize bullshit. Everyone else was just taught to follow orders and only care about themselves.
Like, at this point itās legitimately more surprising that people who didnāt fall for it still canāt understand why itās working. Itās not some big secret that the American education system is shit
The hard truth is that the average person only cares about what affects them personally.
To use a more āfunā example, Nintendo fans freaked out about having to pay $80 when Nintendoās been scummy towards their most dedicated fans for years prior. The truth is, Nintendo nixing AM2R and PokĆ©mon Uranium didnāt affect the average fan, so they didnāt care.
$80 games? That directly harms their personal finances, so now theyāre actually upset (I think people will buy the games anyway barring a recession, but I didnāt major in economics so what do I know).
Propaganda works.
