What a fucked up timeline to have that as a truth. Honestly, this whole thing is hitting me in a way I wasn’t expecting; I’m feeling that we are actually about to go into WW3. If you go onto All and look at the headlines, you can see which country is aligning for/against what just happened… the groundwork for the modern day Axis vs Allies.

Just tested it out. Can’t even see any media that I added to my funkwhale account, or listened to. This applies to music and a podcast. I hope the refactor of Funkwhale ships with a strong emphasis on federation with more ActivityPub services.

I’m on both and intend to find out. I suspect that is not possible though. You can follow your Funkwhale account from Mastodon, yet you can’t lookup and follow any mastodon accounts.

Let’s pretend this passes and becomes law. Now imagine a nationwide call for people to do a run on their bank, and pull out all their money. Even when the banks try to limit withdrawals, it doesn’t mean you can’t come back at some point and keep withdrawing.

Not everyone would do it, but eventually the news would be running in panic mode, as would investors.

I’d imagine the banks would be keen to demand a reversal of the law real quick…
