2 hours agoWe have some little sparrows that just go in there and motorboat the bird feeder, so there’s plants from the seed growing all over under our feeder haha. No corn though, that is pretty cool!

The stuff up there right now is a tad old, but it is some music that deals with my struggles with my realizations about my sexuality and gender, thus some of it is a little difficult and discordant. I’m working on some more joyous music. It’s 100% hardware based (synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, effects), no computer, DAW or AI involved in recording.
I previously joined lemmy under the name etherphon, I was a lot angrier before I made peace with myself so if I made some comment to you or offended you in some way I do apologize.
I love synthesizers, all sorts of music (mostly electronic), b/cult movies, science fiction, DIY, graphics design, PC hardware, retro computing (Commodore <3), cooking, singing.

2·6 hours agoOh gosh well mine was like $5 then lol. Yeah it really doesn’t seem worth it to me but then I live in a totally different economy I suppose.
I suppose, I just heard about the vastness of the old WoW gold farming economy semi recently, the amount of money going through that kind of stuff is just mind boggling.
Yeah, I’m sure that was going on a LOT, I never really had it in the forefront of my mind though, mostly because thinking of ways to make money seems to be an alien concept to my mind. I wonder how much mine was worth before I got banned… probably not much anyways it was mostly comment karma from answering questions. Oh well lol.
2·9 hours agoYeah I’m sorry, sometimes I feel like the only replies I get here are people arguing with me :( I don’t even like to argue I just like to share view points but everyone is so aggro.
All I am saying is not everyone has a reason to celebrate and people that don’t celebrate shouldn’t be looked at as less patriotic, it’s not compulsory to light fireworks out of my asshole on the fourth fun as it is.
61·9 hours agoThey’ve been dreaming about doing this too, for some it’s their dream job, how pathetic is that, what kind of a life is that? Preying on some of the most vulnerable people who also do so much for us, not only in the way of hard work but enriching America with more and more culture which IS WHAT makes America great, that mix. America without immigrants and indigenous peoples would be a bunch of fucking Quakers and nobody (mostly) wants that.
I can literally hear him say all of that stuff, it’s so embarrassingly accurate. After decades of telling the American people government doesn’t work, the Republicans finally proved they were right… by nominating and electing an insanely unpredictable, greedy, self-serving criminal hatemonger to the highest office in the nation TWICE, not to mention the other major duds we’ve had through the years. Good show guys, really.
Wow, amazing, thank you for that background I did read about it but didn’t realize it was quite so simple, relatively speaking. I can’t believe the short sightedness of these folks, it’s unbelievable, it was probably a drop in the hat in the budget and now it’s going to end up costing way way more than they saved, hopefully no one dies, poor animals though although I suppose they were set to be eaten anyways but still.

The circumstances that everyone had the same freedoms all those 250 years? Certainly in that case.
Half milestones are kinda tacky anyways, but I suppose that fits. 250 who cares. I’m sure a lot of people would rather not celebrate most of those years anyways.
I really just can’t take people who support this seriously anymore. Either admit you got conned or you’re a big ol jerk who’s profiting from the destruction of America, which one? You haven’t “owned the libs” or anything, you just made yourselves look like the biggest dupes ever.

3·1 day agoThank you for the review! This game literally hits on all my favorite things so I was really excited when I saw it, happy to hear it’s as good as it looks :) Now I just need to jump back into gaming :D
101·1 day agoAny creators should have left long ago, unless they already had a massive following, it feels not so good to have your hard work buried under piles and piles of selfies and influencers and ads and spam and memes and everything. Since they deprecated the tags it all went to shit, well since Meta bought it really, but that’s when I noticed lol.
Yes I enjoy it here so far, there’s a few hotheads but I guess that can’t be avoided anywhere. People seem genuinely interesting and interested in cool stuff, so it’s really my jam. All that stuff is just so beyond my, interest I guess. I love doing things with computers, making art, editing photos, games, I can make some simple web pages and put them on a host, etc. Fun stuff. Now it’s all… I dunno lol. I never got into phone apps to begin with so I think I was lost from the start. I like computing on a full computer. Honestly any algorithm besides chronological sort is junk to me, like you said it can all be gamed so it’s just all so dumb.
