Half milestones are kinda tacky anyways, but I suppose that fits. 250 who cares. I’m sure a lot of people would rather not celebrate most of those years anyways.
I could see a case where celebrating reparations being involved in a 250 year anniversary, maybe? But to be honest in my opinion, borders are kind of a weird concept now days
All I am saying is not everyone has a reason to celebrate and people that don’t celebrate shouldn’t be looked at as less patriotic, it’s not compulsory to light fireworks out of my asshole on the fourth fun as it is.
Yeah I’m sorry, sometimes I feel like the only replies I get here are people arguing with me :( I don’t even like to argue I just like to share view points but everyone is so aggro.

Quarter millennia? I reckon that would be celebration worthy under normal circumstances
The circumstances that everyone had the same freedoms all those 250 years? Certainly in that case.

I fully fully agree, I didn’t mean to come across as critical of your point. There are many reasons to not “celebrate”

Yeah I dont like to argue either, I prefer to discuss. 🤜🤛
Nah, just celebrate the 252th birthday and call it a day.
