DDR and GDR is the same thing, just in German and English. You’re looking for BRD or FRG (again, German and English)

Every year since 1929 has seen the publication of more books in the Ukrainian language than were published in the whole 118 years before the Revolution.
What a novel way to attempt to wipe out a language, publishing books in it.

And, what? What difference does it make? France had a decent communist movement, right? They were still imperialists.
The Soviet Union expanded their power over Germany via military means. WW2 was simply an inter-imperialist war.

You’ve redefined the definition (multiple times while saying you stand by the original one, but let’s not talk about that). The original one did not include anything about economic pressures, nor diplomatic.
Any diplomacy that extends a country’s power and influence is imperialism by your original definition. There wasn’t any qualifiers such as pressure.
