All this insecurity about tariffs has me hoping he have a Boston Tea Party situation. If I recall the story correctly, they threw the expensive British Tea overboard to protest the tax.

Similarly, I also recall a sugar tax, and either an ink or paper one: basically, I hope I can see something similar to see there’s still a small piece of American values from our ancestors (not the twisted Conservative heaven MAGA wants, but on the American dream of freedom, liberty, and justice for ALL.)

Then why the fuck do we not revolutionize and impose a 3rd party? I swear, I have to go down to DC myself to make people realize WE NEED TO GO OUT AND ACT!!! If NO ONE is happy with either party, we should be able to decline either candidate until we can all agree we found a compitent one. God, does anyone know of any revolutionary groups? I know the founding fathers didn’t just declare independency and establish governmemt. They actually met up and planned how to knock these rich assholes off their thrones.

Call me insensitive, but shouldn’t we be more worried about the terrorists on our home soil before fighting foreign lands. As in, every idiot who thought Jan 6 was a good idea. Because I can already picture the unhappy voters reaction whether Dems or MAGA wins.

And the worst part is: I STILL don’t know who the bad guy is. Israel? Palestine? How should I know, I can barely process the legislation and corruption that was alllowed to pass on our home soil.

Anyway I hope to become more informed on this issue now, seeing as our leader HAS to know a solution. Even though one candidate shouldn’t even be able to walk freely. And I hope everyone else does as well

Literally. As far as I can tell, our country isn’t in the grandest state either, so why don’t we spend the time improving it instead of meddling with other countries conflicts? Lives are are at stake, and here we are debating and commenting about it like it’s another meme on Lemmy. I don’t care which side is the bad guy, but we’re not helping if the country is about to split in half over our political views.

I stopped doing the pledge when I realized I don’t want to pledge my allegiance to a broken system. I’d happily start doing it again once I see actual beneficial change to our country, not more politics to fight/break apart over.

Guys, I don’t know what’s going on in the world and their wars. I just want a president who isn’t abhorently evil. Do we have to revolutionize to find that 3rd option orrr?

Huh. Its like I wanted a revolution in America, not a world war. Although that sounds good, we should all stand up to our oppressors and die fighting for what we care for. I’d rather die revolutionizing than dying for any current global leader

Guys, when is the revolution? I wanna burn down every government building and start from scratch. I don’t think Americans will be happy whether Biden or Trump is voted in, so we might as well fight both sides and uprise a new one

I wonder if his prison sentence will end similar to Epstein, or it has a Trump twist. I imagine a scenerio where a guard “accidentally” drops the key infront of his cell, the cameras are off, and every guard is distracted, but he still manages to fuck up and get lost inside the prison. Resulting in a comical yet massive prison escape, as he attempts to swoon the prisoners with freedom, in exchange for their loyal support, which is basically finding the exit.

I’m still waiting on who’ll become the martyr for the third option. Because as far as I’m concerned, no third option is gonna arise naturally.
