Op isn’t answering shit
Just like Linux
sh.itjust.works was having issues.
The irony
It works like shit
sh.itbarely.works
It really does 😂.
To be fair, it’s free, so I can’t complain 🤷… and it doesn’t happen often… like once every few hours…
I actually left that instance just because it was always having issues…
Weird. I’ve been on it for months and never had problems.
It had some problems at the beginning, when the big wave hit, now it’s kinda OK. Some lags here and there, but generally OK.
It used to have more problems, now it’s kinda stable. I have a bunch of other accounts, but I mainly use this one. I should probably switch to the others.
Once I noticed this instance name, I could not resist
Yeah, I was like “yep, that’s me” 😂.
Shit.just.wont.works.most.of.the.time.but.not.every.time
Exactly!
Return code 0 is good.
The community told me that using Arch would turn me into a cute femboy. It’s been a decade and I’m still as large and hairy as I was back then.
My question is who should I sue for this false advertisement?
Why is it that ever since upgrading Fedora I need to restart the pipewire daemon every time I plug/unplug headphones or else media freezes?
Because the sound goes through pipes and you need to let them rest, otherwise they might burst from the sound pressure.
Hmm… well that makes actually a lot of sense. Thanks!
Join me for my TempleOS AMA next week 👍.
Because you also need to install Trenchcoat for it to work
You forgot the Katana plugin.
Also make sure the Tendies dependency works
Something similar is happening to me on Manjaro. Semms the newest pipewire update made it so it doesn’t auto-route devices to the main sound output anymore…
Have you checked the logs?
One thing that works for me on Pop OS is to switch audio device in the settings, it’s like the buffer gets filled up and switching device flushes it.
Should I dual boot?
Of course… what sane person doesn’t wear both boots 🤨.
People missing a leg
Yes, that will be the only exception I presume.
People missing two legs
That people does not boot, so they don’t count
YARRRR
The ones that wear one boot inside another. Only a single boot on each foot suffices.
I don’t recommend it, the more boots you use the heavier your computer will be. I’ve got mine down to half a boot and I’m working on getting it down to a quarter.
some clearly hasnt heard of a bootless system
lol 🤣🤣🤣, this one is better than my answer 🤣.
Was linux created by linus tech tips?
Yes… most probably.
Linux sex tips
No it was created by his good twin Linux tech tips
this weeks episode is why you should compile everything from source
Because… what sane person doesn’t…
Who waits for family reunion?
What’s the cp command?
It does creepy pedo things on your files.
Except for PDF files, they’re kindred spirits.
Yes, they’re the only exception, though there are efforts to get them working with the cp command.
it sends your files directly to the communist party of china
What does the GNU stands for in Linux?
Going to Nut in Unix
Correct
Chaos
Which one is it?
“Ask me anything about it and I’ll try to answer”
OR
“Ask me anything about IT and I’ll try to answer”
Take your pick, I’m feeling generous today.
What does IT stands for?
Intense Trauma
Inconsistent Transvestites
Internet Terror
Incest Topless

I’m sorry, move on.

Touché! I was thinking Information Technology, but you win with Pennywise twist.
Can Linux be used as a sex toy?
Good thing it’s written in rust. Memory leaks and race conditions are my two biggest fears while buttplug shopping.
Jfc!
If you want to hear someone talk about penetration testing (heh) these things:

Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.
I’m open-source; check me out at GitHub.
Yes.
Can you explain network sockets to me?
They’re just regular sockets that do most of the work… the net thing is just added to complicate things.
Now what about network socks?
You wear them when networking.
Who is Linus and why does he Torvalds
how is the x org x server related to x formerly known as twitter?
wayland.social
It’s his second cousin from his aunt’s sister in law side.
They’re distant cousins, but they avoid each other at family reunions
What are programmer socks?
They’re socks that programmers usually wear when they’re out, not programming, because everyone needs socks when they go out. But, programmers felt underappreciated if their socks are called just like everyone elses socks, so they changed their name by adding programmer in front.
They are soft material artifacts that protect and warm up the programmer’s feet.
What is “:() :;:”
That is what happens when none of your alphabet keys on your keyboard are working, but you still wanna communicate online.

I’d like you to guess which one of these is fake:
-
How do I install Hyprland on NixOS using Flakes?
-
How do I install systemd-dispatcher on Void Linux RC?
Edit:
OP has answered, the answer is
that the second one is fake, the first one is real.
Whichever one is fake could be real tomorrow.
do you have any idea the shitstorm that would go down in the Void Linux forums
Is it anything like the daily shit storm in every Linux community?
There is always an alternate reality
They are both fake. Neither of them show up any results on google searches.
You’re good. I know one of these is definitely real, but the other one is plausible enough to make me think both are real
If you didn’t tell me one of these were fake I would never have questioned it.
Honestly, just because one is nonsense, it wouldn’t mean it’s fake. I’ve read help forums.
…Neither?
