President Donald Trump is calling for Democrats to be jailed, ordering the Justice Department to investigate lawmakers who have dared to threaten to hold him and his goons accountable.
The 80-year-old president cast his demand for Democrats’ imprisonment as a response to their threats to investigate members of his administration, particularly Attorney General Todd Blanche, his former personal lawyer.
The mad king’s calling for the arrest and imprisonment of political enemies for merely being political opponents is one of the nails in the coffin of a dying empire. Add this on top of J6 too.
The biggest issue is that the supreme court ruled that he can commit crimes but not be accountable for them whilst president. So this crazy banana republic behavior is going to keep happening until his term ends. All this talk of impeachment is hopeful, but I doubt the democrats will pull it off if AIPAC are still as invested in their politics as numbers suggest. And if they remove him, then there is Vance, so nothing gained
Or we could get armed and organized and put the rabid animals down, including the enablers from the Supreme Court…
They already came for our Due Process, why are we giving them theirs?
If the different branches of government can be used to solve the problem, then democracy is strengthened and shows the government is fit for purpose. If it isn’t then people know what needs to be fixed to better protect democracy in the future. A descent into violent only fosters chaos and risks civil war. That’s bad for everyone
We have already descended into violence. Violence is already being committed against us. THEY CAME FOR OUR FUCKING DUE PROCESS. That is the underpinning of the social contract between the populace and the government. That was the load bearing wall. We are already in civil war, just some people are too stupid and ignorant to see it, and are happy to let others die for their comfort.
That is them saying they don’t give a shit about the rules, and are more than happy to make you suffer without cause or reason beyond “I say so”. But hey, guess there’s no need to lose their heads over it, when ours will roll just fine.
So when are you ready to go to a concentration camp? When are you ready to lose your family for your ideals? Because that shit’s already happening, just not to you…yet.

Real civil war is a lot worse than what is happening in the USA right now. The USA is a functioning country and a population that can work together despite recent problems. It isn’t a lost cause and these things can be repaired, though it won’t be a quick fix
The USA is not a function country. We haven’t properly functioned for decades at this point, we are a failing democracy. And I never assumed there was a quick fix. Even if a civil war went our way, it wouldn’t be a quick fix, it would just give us an opportunity at better foundations and refactoring our government.
And we are in a “real” civil war, it’s just not open street fighting yet in most parts of the country, mainly because we’re so spread out, and many of the population are afraid to lose their comfort while people are taken to Concentration Camps. I wonder if the civil war feels real to them? What do you think? Do you think it feels real to those already taken? To those already harmed? Is it real for them?
