Honestly, it probably is as simple as that. Unfortunatly it’s not people waking up and being “wow, GOP are evil”, they just noticed something that impacted them directly and so they went out and voted. Thats probably why Trump won in 2024 too, people just saw high prices during biden’s presidency and decided to vote for the 2016-2020 prices.
