Both copies I own have it as two separate tracks, as does streaming.
My 50th anniversary edition:
My early 80s (I think) pressing:
Apple Music:
Those pictures are of the sleeve obviously but the records themselves also echo this. I don’t have an original pressing but I’d like to get one at some point.
Mine’s a Canadian pressing too actually. One day I’d love to own an original pressing GB copy with the solid prism and everything. They’re not cheap though, and obviously a little more expensive again to get it to Canada as opposed to a Canadian pressing that’ll already be here.
Interesting. I first heard it on CD, which is why they’re the same song in my mind (also, it’s difficult to decide where the division would be made from a production standpoint. I assume that’s why they made it into one track for the CD, there’s no good place to split the recording).
The meme makes way more sense if he’s talking about Time tho

I don’t know, I guess it depends on how you’re listening to it. Lyrically obviously, Time would make more sense. But On The Run could be sonically more interesting, or at least give the appropriate reaction if you’re high maybe. I could definitely see someone hearing On The Run for the first time, with good headphones in, while high, and just being totally entranced. At the same time, I think that goes for any Pink Floyd song actually.
Fair. I love Time, it’s one of my favourite songs ever written. I’m just saying both would work quite well for that reaction, especially if the listener is high.
It’s one track. The meme is referring to Time.
Edit - Track one is Speak to Me / Breathe
No paranthetical
Uh oh, I detect a schism.
No need to be a tool
I think we should all just join hands, form A Perfect Circle, chill out
Ughh… I’d rather have an Ænima
Yes, do A Circle of Hands.
I’m not!
No chill. I need to be four degrees warmer.

Yes, that appears to be the norm
I explained my reasoning in another comment if you’re interested, but it’s not important enough for me to retype
my 73 Canadian pressing is the same order as your 80s pressing

While I sgree on combining them it is the unconvential way. This is old vinyl side A
And Wikipedia has a note under track listing on that spesific topic.
So track 3 would be on the run, at least on the vinyl he got :3

Oh, I’m by no means trying to downplay the quality of On The Run, I just think that Time is a particularly insightful and moving song.
