Terrible. where will all those poor cars go now that you destroyed their homes?
They’ll probably form gangs and attack people at night!
People just have no heart any more!
Bottom looks like a render
Recent construction generally hasn’t had the time yet to start feeling lived in
Part of the roof looks like a texture misaligned with the quadrilateral edges. Or maybe it’s just some kind of moiré in the photo.
Either way, it’s an odd architectural choice to so closely match the roof to the wall.
Ya I tried looking on google earth but the pic of the area is from 2 yrs ago and doesn’t have the buildings there yet. https://earth.google.com/web/search/Salisbury+Square,+Hatfield,+UK/@51.76363889,-0.21392631,75.28960419a,0d,90y,179.16150191h,73.30366912t,0r/data=CiwiJgokCeTX_xCN6zNAEePX_xCN6zPAGY4aqXrTG0lAIVs9hHRShknAQgIIASIaChY2VWNFYUlJN3ZUZXhlTzNTazFsamRBEAJCAggASg0I____________ARAA
If you look at the historical imagery you can see the old car park tho so it’s the right place.
based on the church, I think the point of view is not the same on both pictures. The “after” seems a view point from the parking.

Are you guys seeing anything that suggests these are actually the same location because I seem to be missing it
This is slightly misleading. While both shows Sailsbury Square in Hatfield, UK, it is not the same perspective.
https://www.phipartners.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/PeteSeaward--1024x645.jpgThe parking lot was in the position of the slightly less elaborate (but still nice looking) buildings at the road. The slightly fancier buildings in the above image are not standing on the former parking lot, they are replacing an older modernist building that was torn down for that and was next to the parking lot. All in all this looks like a very nice upgrade though for the area.
That said, the new development still sees way to much parking around those new buildings.
is that a brick roof?
Looks like brick colored shingles
You can just make new houses out of not sticks? Incredible.
Is any of that affordable to live flat and up in up there in up in there in though? (Insert: brumbly stumbly mcgibbins on toppenshire innit (?) that the proper English speakers know what’s asking on tepp un bronticestershire. Can a mate there plod down a nights’ slough?? Truly?
