Russia has attacked a power plant in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv despite Donald Trump’s statement earlier Sunday that both sides had agreed to an “energy ceasefire,” according to Ukrainian officials.
A local official told ABC News the thermal power plant CHP-5 was struck at least twice, causing a fire. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a statement confirmed Russia had attacked the plant, as well as another in Kyiv, saying it had taken place after Trump’s announcement.

he wants to give russia some breathing room after zelenksy struck yANDEX datacenters responsibel for bots on social media.
They were indexing bots, not troll farm bots. Because Yandex is a search engine.
Jesus, the amount of bullshit around this is astounding.
And a cloud provider that hosts things. That’s like saying ‘because Amazon is an online bookseller’, or ‘because Google is a search engine’, when both have significant lines of business (in Amazon’s case, bigger than their original business) hosting things for others.
In Yandex’s case, some of those will be military stuff, some will be troll farms, and some will be running things for Russian businesses.

Plenty of reputable journalists are also citing a drop in bot traffic. Its a disputed issue it seems, not worthy of the snark others gave here in this thread.

Oh no! Why did you delete your comment? You were so self assured!
Because it was a thread filled with trolls like you.
Nah, it was because you were fucking wrong and confident about it, I’m sure!
Turns out there are plenty of reputable reporters arguing bot traffic did get hit. Let’s have a reasonable conversation instead of dismissive snark.

Nah I followed main stream reporting. Some articles despute that reporting which is good. Happy to given new info. But the way some of y’all are talking, disparaging for following main stream reporting suggests no appetite for good faith discussions.
Lmao. You’re trusting main stream reporting in 2026? With no evidence? And then confidently parroting what they say?
Good luck with that.
Following up: turns out plenty of reputable reporters ARE noticing a drop in bots.

So these aggressively sparky comments from some of you are out of place.
