    It’s easy to have forgotten that, because the zone is flooded so no one can keep up. But he said that on live national TV, and then he still won an election. The US has problems deeper than Trump.

        Trump isn’t the way he is because of the USA. He’s where he is because of the USA.

        Racist, untalented, criminal, reality tv billionaire dumb-fucks are everywhere, but it takes a special place to let someone like that get anywhere near the presidency. And an especially special place where a third of the population will cheer for the person who admits to stealing from them and his desire to fuck young girls.

      No its a message to the local racist groups and militias. If they can incite and create civil unrest or riots in those communities, the Fed’s will show up to… do a range of things, none good and some very bad

      • I suppose he can send his ICE army to back the hate militias, but that will paint a pretty picture to the rest of us just how rogue ICE is.

        Kinda like the LGMs in Portland during the George Floyd protests.

        Whenever there’s a massacre by state paramilitaries, a fuckton of sympathists, activists and sympathizers join the cause against them. Doubly so in the age of ubiquitous video.

        (I think the ubiquitous video is the actual motive driving age verification laws.)

      Reminds me of an old joke (I found it here, but I’m sure it’s not the original)

      There’s an old Soviet joke: A man goes to a newspaper stand every day, buys a copy of Pravda, glances at the front cover, curses, and throws it away.

      After a few weeks of this the seller just has to ask what’s going on: “why do you always look at the cover but never inside?”

      “I’m looking for an obituary.”

      “An obituary? But those are in the back!”

      “Oh no, the obituary I’m looking for will be on the front page.”

      Point is, when he dies, you won’t need to go online to see it.

            We have a huge problem with sweeping things under the rug. It then gives offenders the leeway to say, “you need to move on. We already said you won, and literally no one cares anymore.” Leave some of the legacy items up, and add the names of everyone who had a part in building or normalizing this. His kids, Miller, Vance, Joe Rogan, Jimmy Kimmel, every ICE agent, every FBI agent who touched the Trump/Epstein files and didn’t immediately sound the alarm. On some of the other items, list every single victim. Those directly killed by choices originating him, Kegsbreath, Musk, etc. should be listed with a brief bio and description of how they were killed. Those who were negatively affected by tariffs; EPA, FDA, or CDC fuckery; gas prices; etc. should be enumerated as “harmed by” or “killed by.”

    I went to school in the twin cities. My RA in my dorm was a Somali guy whose whole family except his mom had been blown up right in front of him. Like he used a hearing aid cause he was so close. Grew up in Minneapolis. Lovely guy. Wicked smart. Was working at the mall of America and as an RA to afford college. Working towards becoming a medical researcher, which I assume he now is. Showed me a ton of good east African restaurants all over the city, was an amazing runner and cross country team mate. Probably literally saved my life one night. There’s people causing murder and mayhem but it’s not the Somali immigrants. FTD.
