    I just want to point out that often women are actively pushed out of spaces like this. Ask any woman who has gone into a male dominated field how she is treated. We are often pushed out because of sexism, misogyny, and sexual harassment.

    Example: I wanted to be an electrician, I was actively working towards that goal. I overheard how another electrician and the job foreman spoke about my body and the nasty things they would do to me if they had the chance when they thought I couldn’t hear them. It was disgusting and made me unsafe in that environment.
