My personal belief is that people just like crap like this that they can use as a weapon against people on other social media platforms, but the algorithm loves her apparently. That’s when her and the mods of her personal comics subreddit r/comics really have their fun, permanently banning anyone who even hints at criticism of any kind. If not there, then anywhere on reddit. This has gotten particularly worse the last couple of years.

I was once permabanned from there due to a meta thread discussing pizzacake related mass bans, where literally all I said in my comment was to point out the existence of a tool to see what comments have been removed and evaluate for yourself what is happening. Had previously blocked pizzacake in an effort to avoid all the drama in the comments under her comics but it wasn’t enough. Fortunately I am now banned from reddit entirely and no longer have to worry about these things, at least lemmy has modlogs.
