The entire ellison family are absolutely excrement human beings. I hope Oracle fails.

It wouldn’t matter if it did, the Ellison’s are already pivoting to media. They’ve already gotten rich off Oracle, if it happened to collapse, they’ve now got their new media empire to exploit instead.

Actually, Larry Ellison’s wealth is still tied to Oracle’s stock and his backing of the Warner Bros. Discovery deal gets tougher as Oracle’s stock price drops.

Yeah this is one of those cases wherein all these rich fuckwits having their wealth tied up in stock could potentially neutralize them or at the very least fuck them up thoroughly enough that the potential for collapse still exists.

He’s got enough Hulk money to retire on. I’m glad he’s using that security to say exactly what he thinks, as some good folk see him as a role model.

I hate that “anti genocide” and “pro genocide” are now a part of my mental notes when evaluating someone’s character.

They only used single quotes to show how on the fence they are about taking any position on anything.

        Donald Trump seen “raping” children.

Brown man accuses ICE of “abuse.”

Some people claim this is “spineless journalism.”

Any time most of us read something and hit a single term in quotation marks like that it creates skepticism about the validity of the term being used.

I think the joke was that Variety only used single quotation marks as their scare quotes because they’re half-assing even taking a position on using scare quotes. Normally the US (Variety is a US company) uses double quotation marks unless it’s a quote within a quote.

Good on him, Israel is a terrorist state and Palestinians deserve to live in peace in a country that belongs to them.
