You just assume every child is unloved and maybe in their lifetime they won’t make the world a better place? Lol

Maybe they will, maybe they won’t, but with parents like this:

“I mean, cynical part of me wants to thank you, since my kids will have better chance at life with less competition for it.”

I don’t expect the world to become a nicer, better, place.

That in no way makes it indicative of actual parent-child relations. In fact, I dare say a majority of parents love their children.

Uh, you can make poor decisions with things you love, or think you love, or have animal instincts to love, and it’s hard to argue that parents won’t do anything to help their kids, not short of doing things to the detriment of the rest of society. Look we can talk in circles, but I don’t think it’s doing either of us any good really, have a chill Friday evening dude

There is no way out of this hole without guiding children to a better future. They too must build it. You have a good evening too.
