I won a 100+ USD giveaway once a few years ago from a company of a niche program that I like. To participate I had to make a twitter post about the program, what I like about it, and their current sale. As I didn’t have twitter I created a quick account, wrote a whatever post that literally no one would have seen, and then submitted my entry. I ended up being one of the 5 winners. Lol

Why would you like a company? Can you give me names of companies worth liking? Genuinely curious here, maybe I do like some and never thought about it…

There is a local chain I buy cannabis from that are doing a giveaway for some branded products. Thought I might give it a go, scan the QR code on the in store flyer only to see that it’s an X link.

Xitter is a bad example but I can imagine someone liking / sharing posts for their favourite video game or MMO. Like if there was an update for FFXIV, you might share it with your friends so they don’t miss it. Or if there’s a giveaway code or something. Stuff like that where it’s actually useful and impactful to your life or hobbies.
