minus-squaretimbuck2themoon@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up28·edit-210 days agoThey don’t. That’s not what it’s like. It’s just a big well in the ground. Second pic is the accurate one. You go up the hill, walk in, then all the way down. Exit from there. It’s not surrounded by water.
minus-squareegrets@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up23·10 days agoJust to add to this - the first picture is an unnamed novelty duck house near the ground of Pena palace. It’s only a few feet high. The second is the Torre da Regaleira.

minus-squareegrets@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up5·10 days agoIf a chicken coop didn’t have a lockable door, was on an island or raft in a body of water, and housed ducks instead of chickens, yeah.

minus-squarebrsrklf@jlai.lulinkfedilinkarrow-up13·edit-210 days agoWeird. Doesn’t look like the same place at all. I’ve looked up pictures of the palace and the initiation well, but that tower is never in the well pictures. This map shows what the top of the well looks like.
minus-squarePhilote@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkarrow-up8·10 days agoIt’s not on the same grounds. In the same area of Sintra, Portugal but separate locations. The duck house is from the National palace and the well is from the Quinta de Regaleira.
