Redemption for being that kind of person. She was a vapid and vacuous person and now she’s fighting for the well-being of teens and underrepresented children. What the hell do you think redemption means? Do you just never forgive a person after they’ve decided to stop making bad decisions?
I think it was the exact opposite. It sounds like they were saying she didn’t require redemption, because she hadn’t done anything worthy of scorn. Basically, having revenge porn leaked isn’t something people should be shamed over, and suggesting that it requires “redemption” is inherently based in slut-shaming and misogyny.
