I live in a city where they are scattered everywhere constantly blocking traffic & pedestrian walkways. Furthermore I’ve tried to rent one before but it didn’t work, made me go through the whole app & sign up process & payment before it told me the bike wasn’t charged & didn’t work, but the app sure was happy to take my money! I give these things the stink eye every time I see one.
That’s actually fair, they don’t want people trashing their equipment.
I wonder what kind of message they zap to people’s phones when the lime bikes are dumped into rivers & lakes & dumpsters?
It would be kinda stupid to rent it to do that. I think most people who do that just pick it up when its standing around somewhere
Yeah I was being facetious. Those things annoy me so much all I want to do is throw them into a dumpster.

So make sure to just smash up all the abandoned ones littering the streets.
