The decision is a major victory for Republicans, wiping away a measure approved by voters to allow Democrats to gain as many as four House seats in the midterms.
The Republicans are about to gerrymander all the black representatives out of the South, so it’s going to be a very uphill effort for Democrats to win a majority int he House, even if 60% of Americans vote for Democrats.
I dont think Democrats have an uphill challenge to a majority. It might be slimmer, but I dont think Republicans have fully grasped yet the depth of discontent and anger by everyone but their most dedicated supporters

Judges going against the people is likely to see more Dem turnout and possibly even more gain in seats. While drawing attention to any judges up for election.
Every Dem state party has been operating at campaign levels for a year since the DNC started making it rain. They’ll keep it up at least thru the midterms and likely thru the presidential.
A steady steam of ~1 million every month to every state (and territory) party with extra money going to red and purple states where we can get the most gains.
The Indiana primaries gave us a really good insight, as much as trump wouldn’t shut up about it, the races all had very low turnout and close to 50/50.
Even rural Republicans are tired of trump, they won’t vote D, but they may just stop voting for a couple cycles.
We’re being forced to take the risky gamble, but it could very well pay off.

Its not a fucking opinion dude. Its a basic understanding of the implications of what this decision in combination with the earlier supreme court decision do to the basic electoral process in the US.
I’m sorry that you live in a religion that is based on cheer-leading for a team, but I choose to live in a practical reality that doesn’t rely on rose colored glasses regarding how the Democratic party operates. These issues are too consequential to live in that kind of delusion. Democrats are cooked. And they’ve done practically nothing to protect the American people from the utter dismantling of the US democracy in the previous 26 years, and its only been accelerating.
Democrats were cooked when they rolled over on the Bush V Gore election. Everything we’re experiencing is downstream of the Democrats decision to roll over on that fight. And Democrats have been soo cooked for soo long, that at this point the structural barriers to overcoming are being practically insurmountable.
