To be fair this is basically how sharks work for us
Not really since we enter their realm and they give us what for. This is more akin to walking to the local shop for a snack and getting scooped up and carried away by a giant eagle
Speak for yourself! Last time I went for a walk to get a snack at the local shop, I got scooped up by a giant shark and carried back to the water!

It’s a creature that comes from an environment where we cannot survive, and drags us back into its realm to eat us. I was thinking more the kraken, but maybe ‘space cthulhu’-type aliens work too.
Don’t think Bigfoot is a particularly violent chap? Maybe a Wendigo might be a better match.
Someone said this bird eats insects, so it’s not violent for the fish at least.
