I think there’s a chance this was the plan all along and the ‘ceasefire’ was just a PR ploy to avoid having to admit the tuesday 8pm deadline was just a bad bluff that everyone saw through.

Of course it’s entirely possible that the us regime did desperately want the ceasefire to work and was just too stupid to realize that israel won’t stop until they’ve created a crippling humanitarian crisis in iran.
