It was their own hubris that killed them and the arrogance of a military too incompetent to listen to their own reports. If Gaza had settlements they would be literally dancing surrounded by starving children and it would have been just as justified.

They were dancing and partying near the worlds biggest open air prison, within literal eyesight of oppression and death they were having fun. Almost certainly they supported the genocide and many of them (if not most of them) were soldiers.
So what? They were colonizers and reactionaries, the entire land of Palestine is occupied under military rule and if a couple of “civillians” die then thats the cost of apartheid. People should not be allowed to sleep comfortably at night when their privilege comes at the expense of some peoples basic human rights.
