So, if you ever have to get the bands back on a lobster this trick works every time:
- take a spoon or laddle or stick.
- thread the stick through the elastic, so you can slide it.
- badger the lobster with the stick until it grabs it
- with your other hand slip the elastic over the claw.
You can repeat for the other claw.
