Just because millions of people aren’t being systematically executed specifically based on race doesn’t make it not a genocide, and just because someone isn’t literally the single most racist person ever to walk the earth doesn’t make them not a fascist
They are just on the other side of the propaganda coin and are believing different lies than we do. Hexbears often present with an obnoxious attitude, so I understand why you are annoyed by them.
I had arguments with idiots from “innocuous” instances that think the genocide in Gaza is not a genocide because not enough people have died so far. So there’s idiots everywhere.
All flavors of tribalism are the same. That core conservative zeal to say whatever promotes the ingroup and condemns the outgroup seems innate to the human brain. Reasoned argument is a learned behavior - and so is faking it.
They are left to the fascism, that they equate everyone who doesn’t agree with them, in a very special way - both are ultra right, but tankies are on the left of a spectrum orthogonal to the one the rest of us usually employ.
