Khanskaya air base is used to base aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Forces in the southern part of the country.
This facility has repeatedly been regarded as an important element of rear-area aviation logistics.
Distance is no safety from smaller unmanned sabotage, only mobility is. This is a major threat to fastjets as their use is so heavily tied to fixed infrastructure.
