On December 25, Ukrainian forces downed a jet-powered Shahed drone using the P1-SUN interceptor, showcasing advancements in air defense capabilities.

The P1-SUN was developed by the Ukrainian defense technology company SkyFall, which has said the interceptor has a modular design and a 3D-printed airframe.

SkyFall has also said the drone was initially capable of speeds up to 300 km/h, and that developers have since increased that figure by 50%, while the system can climb to an altitude of up to 5 kilometers.
