      The origin of “ph” for the “f” sound is that in Classical greek these words were pronounced with an aspirated “ph”, which lead to this romanization. Only later they were actually pronounced “f”.

      So you could say that “ph” to universally communicate “f” is faulty, because it used to be a different sound in the first place.

      Yes, he explained why it’s spelled that way in the video. The creators were worried that people unfamiliar with English wouldn’t pronounce the “ph” properly.

      He also explained why Juliett is spelled with two Ts instead of one.

        I think worried is the wrong word.

        They studied how people pronounced words and showed that spelling it this way made more people pronounce it as expected.

    yeah I couldnt watch that, it kept stopping to show ads inserted into the video and after one stopped, a permanent overlay ad hovered in the bottom left hand side of the video and would not go away.

              You’re more than welcome to express your opinion, I was more asking if there was a tangible reason behind it. Is he known to be an arse, has he been an arse? But, it sounds like there may not be.

                I’ve watched plenty of Robwords videos and I have not gotten the impression he was a “jackass”, let alone deserved to be punched in the face. Maybe it was down to the way that sentence was worded that comes across differently to me than intended.

                It’s also an opinion expressed in an online forum on the internet that is accessible to everyone. So, it’s open for other people to express their opinion on others’ opinions.

          Maybe your new install of unlock origin doesn’t have all the lists enabled. Go into the config and make sure the advertisement lists are enabled

              1. Verify you’ve installed the correct extension

              2. Completely restart your browser, close it all the way out, then open it again

              3. Make sure you see the red badge icon in your extension tray, when you right click on a website, you should see inspect element or block element as a context menu item.
