So uh…

Physical Description
salicylamide (225mg); acetophenetidin (160mg); caffeine (65mg); pyrilamine maleate (15mg); homatropine methylbromide (0.5mg) (drug active ingredients)
Salicylamide is apparently roughly equivalent to aspirin, but uh…
Acetophenetidin is also known as Phenacetin…

… and it was:
withdrawn from medicinal use as dangerous from the 1970s (e.g., withdrawn in Canada in 1973,[2] and by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1983[3]).
Whoops!
Turns out its a carcinogen or causes carcinogenesis (cancer!), hemolysis (kills, lyses, pops your blood cells)… renal papillary necrosis, aka, it fucking kills your kidneys.
Apparently, this shit killed Howard Hughes.
… yeah I could look into the other active ingredients but I think we’re done here.
There’s also caffeine.
So it’s pretty much mydol, plus that discontinued ingredient.
Sure, yeah, cancerous, kidney and blood killing mydol.
Here, drink this moonshine I made in my ole’ backyard, lead lined still, with some arsenic for flavor, its pretty much vodka.
I’m so tired of these woke ingredients and liberals ruining my food. Have you seen baby oil recently?
There’s no fuckin baby in it
… do we have a ‘brand new sentence’ lemmy comm somewhere?
Because… damn.
I know lesbians who complain about their partner when its that time of the month. Putting up with a crazy bitch is not gender specific.
Yea, and you’d think you’d see more mentions of PMDD here as well.
interestingly there is a (rare) phenomenon where the male partner gets some or all of the menstrual or pregnancy symptoms. Apparently my grandmother could tell she was pregnant (she had 10 total not including miscarriages) because my grandfather would get morning sickness! Partially explains how she managed to have 10 if she wasn’t having to deal with all the symptoms herself.
It’s called “Couvade Syndrome.” Obviously a lot of it is likely somatic but apparently there are measurable changes in hormone levels in the partner. Humans did evolve to co-parent offspring so it makes sense that there would be physiological changes to support that.
As an aside, apparently the local doctor told her it was a shame she’d already had her appendix out because otherwise he could do a prophylactic appendectomy and “accidentally” cut her tubes while he was in there.
I swear I smelled pregnancy on my wife’s breath both times. It’s a weird smell. Like…burnt plastic?
I got morning sickness during pregnancy. First trimester only I think. She did as well, but not as bad as I did lmao
Can we make the Sentence beginning squares a thing? This helps a lot to find in the correct next line.
Would Don Draper approve?
Or is this more of a McCan type deal?Any “Mad Men” fans in da house tonite?!!
Mad Men sounds much too negative for my blood. I’d rather see Glad Men.
Or maybe try the Italian version?
L’uomini Arrabbiati!
Most people don’t understand how much feminism has accomplished. And how recently.
Reminds me of that article about fellas suffering from endometriosis.
HRC: “The true victims of war are women because their support system (daddy) gets maimed or killed” PMS does impact family, though.
Is this loss?
Worse; its cancer, kidney failure, and … your blood cells dying.
No?
