I know plenty of people who are by no means rich who live on boats that size. Its basically the marine equivalent of living in a camper. My best friend lived on one for more tha a decade. he got for like $3k and put like $9k of work into it. Had his first kid living on that boat because he couldn’t afford to live on land.
