UK experts have condemned āfearmongeringā in the US after it was reported Donald Trumpās administration will say there is a link between paracetamol use in pregnancy and autism.
Scientists have hit back, with one saying the claim ārisks stigmatising families who have autistic children as having brought it on themselvesā.
The Wall Street Journal reported that US health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr is expected to say Tylenol ā which is paracetamol in the UK ā is a potential cause of autism.
There are plenty of quotes in the article, including references to studies which very clearly refute the claim.
Scientists arenāt hiding a link behind the stigmatism of making women think they ācausedā their childās autism. There is no link to hide. Itās bullshit.
As such, it is particularly reprehensible for the scum of this administration to push this quackery. They want to pretend, āautism didnāt exist back thenā. Just like they want to pretend ADHD didnāt exist, and trans people didnāt exist, and gay people didnāt exist, etc. They donāt care what lies they have to spew or who they have to hurt to push their anti-science agenda.
