In 1973, Gary Gygax and Don Kaye founded the firm TSR -- Tactical Strategic Rules. The next year, this company created Dungeons & Dragons.This cultural phenomenon had humble origins. Those origins include a hobby shop named the Dungeon Hobby Shop which Gygax established in 1976 at 723 Williams Street in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.       There’s a significant difference between “I want to do popular thing!” and “I want to delve into this topic so deeply that I take a road trip to Wisconsin”.

      It looks like the house was converted to have their offices on the bottom floor and then the living quarters on the top floors.

      I had a friend who lived in a house like that. He said it was a royal pain carting groceries up every time you went shopping.

        Do they not have apartments where you live? Walk-ups, home conversions, etc. Everywhere I’ve lived, this was super common
