Hard disagree. While they are worse nowadays due to tighter budgets and schedules they elevated several otherwise mediocre movies so much back in the day. There still are some legendary voice actors i love to listen to. It creates an unique experience different from the original. AI on the other hand… hate it.
I’m sorry, but I have to hard disagree right back. You can argue that dubbing made movies available to a wider audience … but no movie was ever “elevated” by German dubbing.
Mh … that’s a hard one. I’m not quite sure which I despise more, AI or German dubbing.

Have you ever seen a Bud Spencer movie? They’re straight up not even half as funny in the original language.
Well, those are kind of weird because they don’t really have an original language. They were even dubbed in English.
