Yeah, but guess what.
My N64 still works and now I have kids who love Mario kart. When they finish their vegetables it’s going to be on like Donkey Kong.
Guess what, I wasn’t even alive then
Guess what, I didn’t have friends then
This was me with my friends. License to kill. One shot instant death. They never learned to strife around corners.
My siblings were all girls and they weren’t into “the James bond” game.
However! We had diddy kong racing and bomberman 64.
We all used to play bomberman 64 for hours on end. Mostly even playing field. Wins and losses all around.
My sister used to kick my ass in pokemon stadium (tetris attack) too.
Introducing people to the alternate controller layout was like unlocking part of their brain they didn’t know was there.
There are other good times ahead !
(* ^ ω ^) Just to know, who’s the artist ?My family was too poor to have an N64. I taught myself to fix computers and emulated games because of that.
2007, I was 21, it was Sunday night, I was playing GTA on my PS3 thinking ”FFS, I’m on days tomorrow…I’ve got to be up early”. I had the fear and I never knew how little I had to fear and how bad it would get.
Then you discovered limewire…
One summer day in 1999 my friend was being lazy and didn’t want to leave his house. So I said my mom took me to blockbuster last night and we rented golden eye for the weekend. He perked right up and we headed to my house. Ahhhhhh those were the days. It was a big deal at the time cause that game and Tony hawk pro skater were ALWAYS rented out and were hard to get your hands on
this except it’s 2025 and all your friends are trans and it’s even better
