Now the only windows pcs in our home are work laptops. I hope it all goes smoothly, i have a few months of tech support on my hands now ha. They are dual booting but I doubt they’ll need windows again except for vr and some specific games. Working on making alvr work but man its a pain to get running.

Nice! I installed Linux Mint on my father’s computer and I haven’t been tech support since. It’s been quiet days compared to when he was using Windows.

Thats good! The only problem is we both are users of a lot of weird software and games so it makes linux very hard vs just basic use or an IT pro. Being in the middle is so hard on linux.

eyyy Nice! Hope your SO has a good experience with it. I put Linux Mint Debian Edition on my mom’s computer (her work from home software does support linux, but only the LTS releases), and she hasn’t really had any major issues with it for the past month.
