Yeah, My reasoning is more, like 80% of the AI companies and services are from the USA. If they passed a law, that’d have you covered for the biggest chunk of it.
Guess where they are working on passing a law to ban regulation of AI for a decade? Sure, the current version was just defeated, but the odds of flipping completely and actually regulating AI are absolutely nil.
They are human beings who are more frequently able to relate to people who are similar to them based on shared experiences including social pressures. I don’t think either gender is unable to relate to the other gender, but social pressure is pretty strong and leads to common outcomes that involve pressures based race, gender, and economic status among others. Someone from a wealthy family is more likely to have a certain outlook compared to someone who had food insecurity as a child.
Even if you read it at one point The privacy policy has changed.
A quarter that does not include healthcare or other benefits, which probably suck out another 20% of what they could have made if health coverage wasn’t tied to employment and has high co-pays and other costs.
Paying taxes is not a problem. The wealthy not paying taxes is a problem.
CBT being basically the only kind of approach to therapy that is actually empirically shown to reliably actually help most people.
Learning that as an acronym for cock and ball torture before the therapy version makes me laugh every time.
My experience with women therapists was always about how I just wasn’t paying enough attention to other people when I pointed out that the people around me weren’t consistent enough to figure out their patterns. My one therapist who was a man explained that most people are just better at handling it when they were wrong and it is fine to be wrong, plus he helped me get diagnosed with ADHD instead of telling me to just try harder. I’ll bet there are some therapists who are women who are just as good as he was, but it became pretty clear that social norms are just as hard for people who specialize in behaviors to overcome.
Enjoy your soggy bun then I guess.
Yes, it was a cold and soggy mess, because I buy hotdogs from places where they are served fresh in a bun with condiments.
I want the ability to merge the display of communities that I choose, so any number of News, World News, HotNakedNews, etc. communities could be displayed as a group of communities based on a topic type as an alternative to the instance/community/subscribed groups. Maybe personal tags for communities would be useful.
You could just get better hot dogs, in fact - most hot dogs do not turn into “cold dogs” or become soggy or otherwise unpleasant in 4 minutes, honestly not even in an hour,
Have you ever had a hot dog on a bun with condiments, or are you just raw dogging it?
I have a fwend in Rome by that name!
Remember that there are a lot of circumstances that could makenit ‘unavoidable’ or shift part of the blame to the victim. A misfire and ricochet would still be called a shooting. If she was somewhere down range and a bullet missed a backstop to hit her it would still be a shooting. Maybe a child was shooting the gun in either scenario.
There are plenty of situations where a grand jury would see something as an ‘unavoidable accident’ or not want to punish whoever had control of the weapon.
Until we know more, there is always the possibility the grand jury doesn’t want to follow through based on some misguided emotional criteria instead of holding someone accountable for negligence.
My guess is that someone completely screwed up some kind of gun safety step and the shooting was unintentional. Although that should result in some kind of negligence charges, I can see Texas giving a moron with a gun a free pass as long as ‘they didn’t mean too’ or something other bullshit.
Could be a former officer.
That could be true, but he is dumb enough to not understand. Malice or ignorance are always possibilities.
That is the intent, to make it harder for any challenges to Republican fascism. If a case comes up that would benefit them, then they will do it as a exception, becsuse they are hypocrites.
Basically they have ruled that rights only count in the scope they want, and by default it is limited. Fascist laws and executive orders can be enforced nationwide and only challenged locally.
The distribution centers typically open for just one hour each morning.
A literal trap for shooting victims. There is literally no way for the crowds to avoid being too early or too late or doing anything that can be used as an excuse to shoot them because the whole setup is designed to cause chaos.
There is no way to explain this as anything other than intentional.
Not really, because existing track would need to be retrofitted with all of the sensors and whatnot specific to automation. Then there would still need to be a large number of staff available to reroute trains when some run late or have issues, because trying to predict all of those situations is impossible.
Smaller rail systems are frequently automated, like light rail at airports and even some subway systems where minimal human oversight is enough to handle it when things don’t work perfectly.
The shortage of operators has a lot more to do with intentionally trying to ruin rail by cutting funding and putting in barriers to working. There are a ton of people who would enjoy being operators if it paid well and was a reliable position.
